McKinley Reflection!

(1) What did you like best about the experience at McKinley?
Just working with the kids, It was alot of fun, I think what really made my day is listening to there opinions kids,u have such an imagination. and i idol that so much.
(2) What aspect of the experience was the most difficult for you?
Well i think it was trying to make sure all of the kids in are group got there opinions of what they wanted it to look like and mash it all together.

"What I really hate is... "

I really hate when people judge you for not being just like them or what they expect of you! Really if that was the way it was supposed to be we would all look the same, and we would all act the same. Ive realized somewhere within three years that if everyone was the same we would have problems big time. For instant's, me and my cousin Trish, we are exactly alike, so naturally we both want things are way, we both will do any thing to get it. and we both have a really bad habit of getting jealous easily when we are together, but don't get me wrong we have allot more good times. That's also cause we both can be responsible and confess we were wrong!

"What i really love is..."

I love the fact that every one can have there own opinion! It's just whether or not you know how to present your opinion or how far you take it! So lets say you are making an opinion on someones life, some people take that opinion to far, and some people get hurt. Or if you are at a job interview or somewhere really polite i guess you can say, you should always plan your opinion or at least know what your gonna say before you start to present it.

How do you want people to remember you?

I want to be remembered the way I was! I want to be noticed for all of my habits and unique way of life. I want my life to a be a storey! I want to be rememberd as the girl named angel the one with the name but not always the attitude. Cause if you know me you know I have plenty of that, I want people to remeber the good and the bad and know that if it was'nt for the bad there would be no good! I want to be the one that made a difference in peoples life.
I want to know I'm worth knowing!

Things I Value?

Please identify three things you value: an object, a relationship, and an idea.

The one object I can honestly say I value, would be my room it's my own domane. I can cry there, I can laugh there, I can scream If I want to.

I think the one relationship, I can say I value. Is i cant say I've never seen a stable relationship. and you wont find alot of them lately. I wish i could see. i only wish i could be in a stable relationship. in the future.

Hmmm, an idea i value, I would have to say i value the Ike boxs Idea's.

What are your personal views about respect?

Respect to me means treat others the way you would like to be treated!

Me personally don't really take things to heart. 

I like to kid around a lot.

And I hang out with a lot of really laid back people so when I meet 

sensitive people it kills its for me.

But anyways I'm totally off subject.

Respect is a big subject basically if I don't Feel I'm

getting respect Ill tell you. 

And in return if you don't feel like your getting respect then tell me 

White Christmas?

Should I be dreaming of a white Christmas?

Yeah sure , I mean I can dream right, doesn't mean its gonna come true. But it also doesn't mean I have to make it a bad Christmas either! I would like to see every thing i want under the Christmas tree and my family all getting along and my mom and dad back to gather!

Advertisements do more harm than good!

Heck yeah they do! But only to some people does it really affect there life, and that's cause they let it. See like me i could watch t.v and not even pay attention to the "what you have to have" or the commotions of " I have to get that" ex.

Have we lost the true holiday spirit?

I definitely think that a lot of people have lost Christmas spirit, with all the commercial's that are basically asking you to buy all of there products and stuff for your kids I mean that's fine and all but at the same time Christmas is about celebrating Jesuses birthday and comeing to gather as a family, but I can guarantee there are thousands of kids out there that go to family celebrations or run down there stairs not to spend time with family and sing but to open there presents. Thats all Christmas is about now the presents, and if you don't get what you want you through a fit. So sometimes I think Christmas is over rated.

Should there be further restrictions on the advertising, selling, and smoking of tobacco? Should it be banned?

Being a smoker I can honestly say I am addicted to cigarettes. For me It is hard to quite smoking. Evan though I hate smoking there is only one reason I keep running back, I feel when Im smoking no one can touch me, Im in control, Im just killing myself at the same time. I think its okay to advertise it i just think people need to knuckle down and ask for a ID.

What does it mean to be "broad-minded"?

To be open minded, more observant, open to others. Not so picky.

I think Im very broad-minded. I work well with others, I listen to problems, Im not racist.

Is it moral and democratic to build such a fence?

I don't think that a fence is really democratic. I mean think about it its basically already a big fence now there just making it bigger a wasting more money, and then telling people its for there safety, and then they say its for a better money situation. I mean people don't get it our country is so in debt, but i don't get me wrong, I don't think its right for them to get welfare or anything when there illegal. But i think its wrong when they expect us to speak there language, when there in freaking america,
I mean if your mexican and we came to your country you would expect us to speak your language. But i also know we would expect you to speak our language when were up there to.

Will a Fence Benefit the U.S. Economy?

YESS!! "A border fence is simply not the Berlin Wall. There is a fundamental difference between building a wall to keep people out and building a wall to keep people in. There is a vast difference between the Berlin Wall, which was intended to prevent people from escaping their virtual imprisonment in a dreary economic gulag, and the proposed border fence between Mexico and the United States. The United States is not building a fence to prevent its people from escaping to freedom, but rather to protect its citizens from a huge economic and political burden which could very well bankrupt us as a nation."

I agree with what the statement above, its not much of a difference except the whole building it to keep people out, for the safety of our country, and keeping people in so they can't have freedom. I think we have a pretty good reason to do so but people have been blaming some our economy problems on the mexicans. when its not all of them. If you think about it the government is in debt in like the trillions. And now they want to build this big wall to keep them out. I don't approve of that.

Should schools be allowed to teach creationism alongside evolution as part of their science curriculum?

The greatest lesson that a school can teach its students is the ability to use their own logic about the world around them. By teaching creationism in the classroom.
I think that we are sending are kids off to school to learn and science is something they must learn. If you think about it science and religion is alot alike and just because school has it to where they can't talk about it does not mean your work won't have a conversation or the out side of school . the point is you have a chose and you choose whethter tpliston to it or not, thats any where.

- Should parents be allowed to perform "genetic screening"?

Just think about it do you like being giving up on or feeling helpless cause you can't do anything bout it whatever it might be, well then you no how a baby would feel if they had no say in oder to live just cause he/ or she might be different in the future, i believe if you made the mistake of getting pregnant then you need to follow through and live with your actions, but do not take it out on the baby in the near future, did your mom give up on you when you where born and if she did are you still glad to be alive, then would you want her to really give up on you and not even let live an ounce.

Do you think Corporal Punishment(for adults) is acceptable?

The buttocks are a sexual zone; adults can derive pleasure from administering punishment to that zone, and can affect the psychosexual development of the children receiving it. Even the presence of another adult does not prevent the easy degeneration from punishment into child abuse. A notorious case from Arizona in 1995 saw school principal Michael Wetton, who had previous convictions for violence against children, convicted of abuse after forcing a 9 year-old boy and a 15-year old girl to strip naked and be paddled. In the girl’s case, her mother was present, but "too frightened to resist".

I believe that corporal punishment is okay at an extent, I believe that the parent and only the parent or gaurdian of the child is aloud to punish them in that way and that and that if the teacher has a problem with not knowing if the parent will punish them when they get home. after the teacher has told them there bad actions. then they need to call the parent in eplane they would like to see how they take care of it and ask in the near future as long as ther is no hitting if they are aloud to take matters in there own hands in the long run.

If you were to plan a road trip!

If you were to plan a road trip somewhere in the lower 48 states, where would you go and why? What places would you stop at along the way?

I would probably go to Florida for my trip? I've heard so much good things about it and so I've decided i want to go there! and i would probably stop at a few places that catched my eye!

I think it depends, but I think I would stop by Idaho and visit family(grandma and grandpa), Utah and look around, New Mexico and visit, Texas and visit long lost family, Mississippi to just browse, and Alabama cause I've always wanted to go there, Georgia cause I've heard good things, and last but not least I will now make it to Florida!
